Established in 1991, the car boot sale on the A507 Buntingford to Baldock road at Baldock has become one of the most popular events in the area on a Saturday.

The sales are held on a 10 acre 'Green-Field' site set amongst the gently rolling hills of North Hertfordshire

Some views from the boot sale site

With a truly diverse mixture of stalls and breathtaking scenery it makes a pleasant change from the sterile surroundings of many shopping centres. Why not visit and see for yourself!

It is also a wonderful place to meet friends both new and old whilst hunting for those bargains or over a cup of coffee and a bacon roll from Steve and Trish's catering wagon.

It can get very busy in the car park with up to four thousand visitors in a morning so it's best to get there early-ish.

Just 1/4 of a mile outside Baldock on the A507 road towards Buntingford

Directions from South: If you're coming from the South up the A1, turn off at Junction 9 towards Baldock. IGNORE the turning marked ROYSTON A505 (new Baldock By-pass). Follow signs towards BALDOCK. When you reach Baldock you'll see a Giant Tesco's on your left next to a roundabout TURN RIGHT signposted A507 BUNTINGFORD. Next roundabout TURN RIGHT signposted A507 BUNTINGFORD. Drive quarter of a mile and it's on your right.

Directions from North: Come off the A1 at Junction 10, follow signs for Baldock. At traffic lights carry STRAIGHT ON. At roundabout next to Whitehorse Filling Station STRAIGHT ON signposted A507 BUNTINGFORD. Drive quarter of a mile and it's on your right.

Directions from East: Follow A505 from Royston in direction of Baldock. Turn off dual carriageway towards BALDOCK. At traffic lights in Baldock TURN RIGHT. At roundabout next to Whitehorse Filling Station STRAIGHT ON signposted A507 BUNTINGFORD. Drive quarter of a mile and it's on your right.

WHEN?

Every Saturday morning from after Easter to mid October. 6am start for Sellers, 7am start for Buyers.
